This is another small halt with short platform and waiting shelter following similar lines of other halts.

There was a halt here on the original Welsh Highland Railway although it was not included in the plans for the rebuilding of the line. It was therefore left to the community there to decide if they wanted a halt. It was only after a favourable outcome to a ballot of the villagers in February 2007 that plans were put in place for the halt.

It was subsequently funded by donations being made into a fund in memory of the late Dr Ben Fisher who closely followed and documented the reconstruction of the railway with his WHR Project website (this can be found following the link under 'The WHR Story' in the menu above).

It was duly opened in 26th May 2010 with a ceremony that also involved the unveiling of a plaque in memory of Dr Ben Fisher.

This halt is in the care of Charles & Jo McKenzie.
